Gullfaxi is made from high-quality pit-burnt tar, nettles and vegetable oils and fats. A combination that is caring and softening for animals with dry, sensitive skin. Like our other shampoos, it is also moisturising and gives a creamy, soft lather. It cleans dirty coats and is also good for washing paws and hooves.
Pit-burnt wood tar is traditionally used in soap and shampoo for animals as it has antibacterial properties. It is said to be good for animals with sensitive skin and soothing for itching, eczema and various kinds of rash.
Gullfaxi has a strong scent of tar, a scent that mosquitoes and midges do not like.
